I have always been a fan of Charles Busch and his hilarious comedy. When the Entertainment Community Fund reached out to me to produce the one night only benefit reading of The Tale of the Allergist’s Wife starring Charles as ‘Marjorie’ along with the original cast members Michele Lee, Tony Roberts, Anil Kumar and Linda Lavin stepping into the role of ‘Frieda’ I thought that I may have entered comedy heaven. It was a joy to work with this cast directed by the one and only Lynne Meadow.
