@singingrevolutionmusical Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania have long shared the tradition of holding song festivals and gatherings for tens of thousands of people to sing and celebrate their respective cultures. During 1980s and 1990s the three Baltic states continued to sing songs of national importance to unite people against the oppressive regime on the streets and at these magnificent festival grounds. All of this culminated in the form of night song festivals in multiple countries, singing themselves free from the Soviet Union and forming the world's largest human chain called the Baltic Chain from northern-Estonian to the southern point of Lithuania.

History has shown how peaceful protests can lead to positive change, one of those examples is the story of Singing Revolution which led to the liberation of three Baltic nations. Today we're witnessing the power of protest in the United States and our team stands with #blacklivesmatter and #bwayforBLM. We're listening, and learning, so we can support black artists in our community in a meaningful way.
